But, I was supposed to be inside a shrine, not running around some quaint little town with animals as weird as Mokona! It's probably that thing's fault to begin with. When I find that marshmallow-

[She's mumbling to herself now, making the background cries all the more noticeable. Enough that the caller snaps at the source.]

Would you quit doing that?! I don't know what you want!!

[One last “Pip!” and out goes the call. Please allow five seconds for ears to stop ringing.]

Yep. Some of them are plants, like Budew. I've also heard of Pokémon that look like rocks. [Or well, seen, when his sister was playing the game.]

Uhm... from where I come from, people refer to Pokémon as "Pocket Monsters". As in creatures that fit to your pocket in a Pokéball.

That would make a bad shock, if I tried it on something I can't!

You can try catching all the wild Pokémon you encounter into those balls... well, of course you can accidentally thrown them at trainers' Pokémon as well, but it wouldn't work and the trainers would get mad.

-I wouldn't try and catch some trainer anyways. Or throw a ball near one.

...unless someone tries to grab the same wild.

Well, accident might happen even if you didn't actually try. Sometimes Pokémon run further away from their trainers and then it's not really possible to tell if its taken or not.

-so what they want to leave a trainer? They can't go and pick a new one?

I'm not sure if they actually want to leave them... but some can be really curious and wonder around in curiosity.

I don't think the Pokémon can change trainers on their own.
